Title: Funny video description for for Youtube video
Post by: oreamnos on February 13, 2014, 04:35:39 AM
I was trying find out more about N-trak and stumbled across this:

Peninsula N-Trak member runs a steam British Train Engine named the Canadian Pacific (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVNaE4aPWc8#ws)

Paul Ingram of Peninsula N-Trak runs his train at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, CA on April 13, 2012. It is a British steam engine named the Canadian Pacific after the shipping company. It is pulling Scottish railroad cars designed by Spanier."

The description of the video is well intentioned but humorous all the same.  I know Rule 1 applies, but did a blue Merchant Navy ever pull a train of BR Maroon LMS stock?

Can't answer that, but no doubt one of our members will.

Like the Spanier coaches, though. We may yet see those really rare ones that were designed by Spaniel  ;D

Oh well - at least he was correct in that 35005 was indeed named Canadian Pacific and in his commentary he did at least say 'Stanier', but I'm jiggered if I can answer the question :dunce:
