Interesting info, always had a liking for tugs, no nonsense boats like
puffers and trawlers, not like chrome plated P & O booze cruisers.

If you like tugs, this one:

Dutch tug built in 1929 of riveted iron.

[smg id=9914]

was converted in 1975 to this:

[smg id=9915]
[smg id=9916]
[smg id=9917]

She's 58' long, 16' beam, draws 6'6" and weighs in at 65 tons.

I and my family used to live on it. 2 single cabins, 1 double cabin, lounge/saloon,
fitted shower and toilet, fitted kitchen (full size cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine)
Wheel house/dining room. Engine room including workshop, twin Foden diesels and geny/welder.

I still own it and its up for sale if anyone is interested

I'd love to buy it, but it draws a bit too much for the canals in Birmingham.
