Not sure if there is a similar thread elsewhere in the forum, I couldn't find one with a search, but thought it would be nice to share our favoured websites that are in no way related to the hobby..two below for starters...
flightradar24.com (http://flightradar24.com)
digitalblasphemy.com (http://digitalblasphemy.com)
Both very interesting!
Don't know about your second link but your first one looks like marinetraffic.com which I use to find out where my boat is when I'm off her. Sometimes quicker to load it and look up the AIS at my desk when I am onboard than going up the stairs to the bridge (lazy).
Only just getting back into n gauge. Been spending muvh of the past decade on
banjohangout.org
New to the forum, just wanted to get the link correct.

My favourite fix for history... mostly because it's my own site, now fourteen years old online and many more offline.

For anyone interested in spaceflight, there is a nice mix of the air-to-ground and flight controller audio loops of the Apollo 11 landing...
