Friends,
I do not know what you were thinking but I was thinking...........
Do you recommend lubricating axle ends on rolling stock or should they survive running dry?
Regards, Peter.
Are you sure you didn't work for 'Viz' in a previous life, Peter?
You just knew you get attention with a title like that - fnah, fnah. :D
However.......I have never lubricated axles on rolling stock but I do clean the wheels now and then as they can lay some awful crud on your track :o

What on earth is "Viz"?
Ah Peter! Bless your innocent heart!
Viz is a bit of a rude (non porn) magazine - http://www.viz.co.uk/ (http://www.viz.co.uk/)
Mick, stop leading our Peter astray!!

They shouldn't need it. A particularly sticky axle can often be improved by squeezing the axle gently into the pinpoint (to smooth out any burrs in the plastic). Some modellers also use graphite which is ideal for the job (simply stick a soft pencil in the pin point hole and draw)
