Without sounding like a Grinch or a bah humbug, there are more newsworthy stories than the nonsense these Journalists print.
We have homeless/flood victims in London and the SE. The royals could open many of the vacant rooms in Buckingham palace and offer shelter and sanctuary to some who need it most.
As usual we have 'Gawd Bless you Ma'am' sentiments to a monarchy that like taking and flaunting lavish gifts while many in the UK go cold/hungry/ without Electricity/shelter tonight. :goodbye: :'(

How would you have put it if you hadn't held back from sounding like a Grinch?
A £20 wooden train doesn't sound that extravagant really given that in the past it might easily have been a chest full of gold coins or an Arab stallion.
I heard that they gave him a GWR layout in 1-1 scale. :laugh3:

would'nt worry about our homeless lot given a bed for the night - full preferance would go to our overseas visitors >:(
