Title: Mercedes breakers
Post by: RST on December 23, 2013, 09:51:25 PM
Anyone have a Merc?  I'm looking for a couple of bits for my CL500, never really had German cars before so I was wondering whether anyone had any recommended specialists or breakers for good secondhand parts. Nothing that I'm looking for is appearing on E-Bay or elsewhere on-line.

Cheers,

Rich

I had a 1977 W123 and joined http://www.mbclub.co.uk/ (http://www.mbclub.co.uk/) when I first got it - it was useful for parts etc.

Was trying to avoid joining another car forum as it'll be my 9th one.  There's some breakers on-line, I'll start phoning round.  To be honest it's a set of switches for the seat I'm after and I think I'll probably end up having to buy new.  That and a set of reg. plate mounts -why o why do folk insist on screwing cheap shiny plastic tat onto their cars rather than use the proper thing :'(
