Hi Ollie, they look great, especially the grills. Trouble is most of them were shedded in Scotland apart from a few late numbers from D5370 onwards which were Nottingham based so unless I renumber them they're outside my location. (Source 1969 Ian Allan Locoshed Book)
Thanks Ollie! Not my era, but good looking models.
Newportnobby - I'm sure you could renumber them easily!
These are actually modern-era models from the early 1990s. Regional Railways kept 26001 and 26007 in BR Green for working the Kyle line and specials.

They will be ideal for my Green/Cream "Hebridean" Mk2s and 101 Observation car
I can't imagine these are anything but pre production shots as I agree with DavieB the coupler looks huge. Not only that, but for those with poor eyesight like me, if you click on 'more images' when on the Rails link you will see they are numbered D5301 and D5310.
Tank is correct - I can renumber but I think I'll wait for some reviews on
:NGF:
Having become the pleased owner of this set can confirm the coupler is a sore thumb, exacerbated by the fact the nem box is almost flush to the buffer beam. Tried Close coupled hunts to link the two, a lot more discreet but not close enough, think they do an ultra close in elite so will give that a go.
Have the Hebrideans on order - does the DTCL have lights ?
Not often we get a 12 year :bump:  :D
:dunce: sorry never noticed the date...

Not a problem at all. You put your post in exactly the right place.
Hopefully i will post some pics within the year at least... cannot figure how to put images on here though, is it a bit outdated or something?
