Took Port Perran to a local craft fayre today to support my partner Lorraine who had a stall.
Had a real hit running the "Chocolate Express" for each child and managed to get through nearly a whole tin of Celebrations !

We had a great day and the youngsters really enjoyed seeing a model railway :

Happy Christmas
Can you drop some toblerones off in Warrington please..
:D
Nice application of Rule No1, carrying over hanging wide loads on the railways. :D
It was great to see the faces of the children many of whom were totally enthralled by seeing a model railway for the first time !
Had a few derailments as youngsters grabbed their chocolates off the open wagon.
Toblerone on the way to Warrington via the 20.25 off Port Perran. Should be in Warrington sometime Christmas Day !!
own up how many chockies did the driver eat ?
i'll pass on the handout - we've plenty of Redcar Rock :D
alan
I only ate 2 for every one I gave out !
Don't feel so good this evening though !
Nice one PP, what a really nice way of getting the youngsters into model railways.
Excellent idea and well done for risking your stock (not the chocolates) for the kids
You did really well and were very brave. When I showed my last L shaped layout to the bored kids of two visitors they just wanted it to be "run really really fast so there is a huge smash up"
