Well done Will, you are only the second person who has noticed!   ;D

It is a REALLY hard task to put together, and this year I've just had too much going on at home to be able to organise it (my home laptop failing was also a huge setback).  The same goes with the tour wagon for this year......really annoyed with myself for not sorting it out.

Also, paypal wanted to close my account last year as GAMBLING is against their policy. ::)  Ripping off customers with their extortiate charges is ok though...

So, maybe next year I will get around to doing it again if members would like me to organise it?

Since I have no experience of the exercise it would be an interesting diversion!

Regards, Peter.

Tank  with all the work that you put into running the forum which is much appreciated by all of us, we are grateful for any “extras” that you can fit in. Remember that the forum should be fun and enjoyable for you as well and your family must come first.

Best wishes to you and all of “your little helpers” (the Mods)

David

I was wondering about a raffle, but didn't want to ask.

Anyway, you do a great job, as do all the mods, and I really appreciate the forum and all it's help and advise.

Keep up the good work, enjoy Christmas with the family, and have a great new year.

Cheers, Timmo

I wasn't here, or even back in the hobby, at this time last year, so I haven't missed the raffle. :D  By all means do it if you have time, or perhaps delay it to a New Year's raffle. It's getting pretty close to Christmas already, so you probably already have more than enough to do in the short term.

Normally we start planning the raffle in September........maybe we should just have a couple of prizes rather than the 15-20 we had last year?!

I remember the first year we did it, my desk at work would have fitted into Hattons or Rails quite nicely  :worried:, good job the bosses never visited!  Mind you if I had taken to modelling British I'd have been well on my way  :D

It is too late for this year now and I don't think we should change the format.

cheers John.

I just wanted to say that you Mods do an excellent job, and Iam certainly very grateful for all your efforts. I understand the effort and logistics that goes into this kind of thing having been a moderator for the first event!

It won't hurt to have a break from it this year, besides you could always go for an Easter raffle??? LoL.

Thanks Mods, and all the best
