I have had a chat with one of my regular customers, who is wheelchair-bound, who was enquiring about getting an N Gauge layout built.
He is looking for something modern-era, with a double-track continuous loop, small station (EMU-sized platforms based around the Bachmann Art-Deco buildings), with a small freight handling area. It would need to be easy to use with controller and switches very accessible. Size-wise, we'd be looking at the minimum possible 2ft6 x 4ft...?
Question is, does anyone know of somebody who could undertake a project like this or have a similar layout that fits the bill for sale that could be adapted?
Bit of a vague answer I know, but there's usually adverts in Railway Modeller for companies that will build a layout by order to any size, spec or level of completion
Bet they're not cheap mind! ;)

Hi
I got mine from boxfile dioramas cost me £250.00
It is just a basic layout 1 platform road, run round loop and a siding, and has a 3 track fiddle yard, the main board has scenery and a backboard.
You could give them a ring and see how much they will charge you
