New series starts on Tuesday Nov 12th at 8-00pm on Sky-1.
Might be worth watching.
Would be nice to see but I won't touch Sky with someone else's bargepole
Thanks for posting it, though!
Booked

Ditto. Sky Suck.
Thanks for the heads up. Will watch.
Love Sky myself. It's the only way we can see TV pictures here that don't look like they are composed of coloured Rice Krispies.
It could well be interesting - the producers wanted to feature my wife, on the grounds that she "seems to have an interesting family life" but we politly declined... ;)
Sky on Virginmedia, too!
In for this, recently watched the FGW doc series on catch up and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I too enjoyed FGW series. Have East Coast Trains on series link to watch at my leisure. :bounce:
The state the coach shown was left in was grim. And seriously, the H&S about getting the bag off the track must have taken about 15 mins when all they needed was a hook. Very similar style to the C5 FGW doc but enjoyable nonetheless.
Very disappointed with the program. There must be more than drunken Stag Parties. Shan't watch any more programs.
Mixed feeling about this documentary. Great to see a positive look at EC (who my wife works for) but dissapointed by the samey fly-one-the wall content.
Considering most of the EC staff who appeared in the last docusoap soon found themselves out of a job, it's no surprise that Sky struggled to find volunteers for this one and some of the participants have family members in very senior positions.
I'll say no more on the subject, or I'll get into trouble!
It was OK but I found the music too intrusive.

Entertaining but not as polished as the similar series on First Great Western which has the advantage of being on the more refined side of the country. :-*
Richard Wilson's commentary was too much Victor Meldrew and the drunks were almost up to the standard of those in Bouncers in Colchester and Clacton.

What an outrageous comment. It is based around God's Own County: York - the centre of the East Coast Main Line; Doncaster the home of Saint Nigel Gresley !!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigel_Gresley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigel_Gresley) not to mention the Flying Scotsman and the speed record
Yup, and it paints a really depressing picture overall ...
Watched about 10 minutes, based on some comment here, and to be honest - it's 10 minutes I'll never get back ...
Talk about a lousy programme ... the part I saw was just stuffed with idiots and stereotypes - I mean, it doesn't take a genius to get a hook on a pole & pull up a dropped bag instead of walking to the end of the platform & then back down the track, with the hold-ups to trains that causes ! And drunks in Newcastle ? Oh come on ... everyone know that !
Won't be wasting any more time on this drivel ... Adam, your wife made a very good decision to avoid being on !
