Title: Does it annoy you when this happens?
Post by: petercharlesfagg on October 29, 2013, 11:00:23 AM
Well the title has proved interesting anyway!   :D

How many times have you visited web sites with images and it states "Click here for enlarged image" and when you do the enlarged image is smaller than the original or even exactly the same size?

It is one of those things that really makes my blood boil!

Regards, Peter.

To right, especially when the original is of marginal quality to begin with  :veryangry:

Absolutely, especially when trying to view minuscule images on my widescreen laptop display.

indeed, a real pain in the butt when your expecting a nice clear large image, when all you get is blurred postage stamp.

another one that's been cheesing me off,  Chrome on Mobile's/Tablets has a habit of changing the text size on some pages to a mixture normal, very small or very large depending on the paragraph, but when viewed with Chrome on a normal PC the text is all formatted to the same size....
Its a known bug, but they don't seem very intent on fixing it

Nope, not one that really bothers me.

QuoteTo right, especially when the original is of marginal quality to begin with

Incorrect use of to/too however...  ;)

It frustrates me to!

Not as much as those date letter / number combinations that you have to enter to prove you are human.."captcha"...I think they are called!

Ah yes, indecipherable captcha codes are infuriating. This forum continually thinks I'm some sort of spambot when I log on via iDevices, and makes me authenticate myself (admittedly with basic numeracy rather than captcha). That's really annoying!

Surprised it wasn't a photo of a husky-voiced ex-Top Gear presenter....  :o

Yes, especially as it tends to be when I am looking at N gauge stuff! Model train shops don't seem to grasp that we want high res images of models which we are potentially going to hand over £100+ for. Hattons have the right idea and do their own photography, the ruler they place next to the models is a nice touch.
