Coming back through Carnforth yesterday I noticed a carriage in black/white livery (black at the bottom, white top) with big lettering "State Car 85" and what looked like the police emblem alongside. Normal 2 x 4 wheel bogies. It was in the storage sidings.
Sorry I couldn't get a pic but I'd really like to know what it is if you can help.
