Title: Bachmann 0-4-0 dockside switcher motor
Post by: Dr Al on July 25, 2013, 04:07:44 PM
Hi,

Does anyone have one of these locos that they'd be able to take the top off and send me a snap of the motor?

This model:

Regards,
Alan

Which version - there are several which are quite different in some aspects of their internals and bits of the drive.

There's also a handy re-motor kit for them

Yes, I'd just like to confirm exactly what original motor is in it.

In which version - there are three basically different chassis for that model as its been produced for 25 odd years

Ideally the one with the motor sitting in the cab - I believe the motor in the variant I'm interested in has two brass contacts on the front to which pickup wipers touch against.

Thanks,
Alan
