I have a UM 2P 4-4-0 in BR black which is fantastic.

I was wondering if it would be appropriate to give it a nameplate ?

Any ideas of names these locos carried in service ?

Anyone suggest a good supplier of nameplates ?

Hi Rob. I've scoured Wikipedia (not always accurate) and my old ABC's and Observers books and can't find any record of 2P's carrying names.
I guess you'll have to make one up ???

The 2Ps never carried names.

That said, if it is something that you would like to do you could always apply "Rule1".
