Title: N EMU kit/conversion suppliers
Post by: sean Half-pint works on June 06, 2013, 12:49:46 PM
Hi all

where is the best place to get hold of N gauge kits for EMU's or conversions for the same, I am after some of the older types, mixed in with the more modern ones, so any sugestions welcome, a website link would be handy as I like to have a look before I buy (who doesnt!) also kits that are fairly accurate would be nice.

Many thanks

Sean

Bob,

Not, per chance, parts that could be assembled into a 365 Networker?

Thanks for the replys guys, i will be looking at the links later on, just so you know, the list includes class 312, 317, 410, 411, 416, 420 and 21. DMU wise the class 165, 205, the 150, 156, and 158 units are avalible RTR and i would like to convert a 158 to a 159... but thats getting ahead of myself.

Thanks for the links ;)

Depending on version 317 will be finalised after my 313 is done
I have a Class 312 cab to use with Mk1 coaches
I also have a Class 165 cab for use with Farish Class 170 bodies

OOOOO, I will have to look into those in a few weeks, when I get paid next!

Thanks for that, and either version of the 317 works for what I have in mind, I look forward to seeing how things come together with the 313, another unit I will be after!

I now have a complete set of bodyshells for to cover Class 313, 314, 315, 507 and 508, so will have to get a lot of vinyls done for these. Thank the Gods that I'm not having to print and cut them anymore!

I'm confident that Bob's 313 kit is really going to be something special, dare I say "PEP-tacular".

I have a good supply of TPM EMU bogie mouldings and will include wheels and Kato close couplings, along with the printed vinyl sides.

Some really good stuff on its way - definitely interesting in the 165 cabs given the price of the complete 3D printed 165 bodyshells!
