The Beeb seem to be going overboard lately repeating railway stuff.
Last night's Flying Scotsman was followed tonight by Dan Snow's Locomotion and other stuff on their other channels. As ever, cheap BBC telly.

1st time ive ever scene it,
Beets having to watch the usual rubish the wife puts me through :beers:

Well, I hadn't seen it before.  Missus and daughter are out at the cinema, so the lad and I sat and watched it.  Quite good, though distinctly lacking in the oNe True Gauge (TM) department.  It was a lot less negative than it might have been - suspect that the likes of Waterman would have refused to take part otherwise.

Mrs d-a-n even offered to switch over to this last night despite the plethora of junk TV happening on other channels. She's amazing!
