First race from Losail, Qatar this weekend.
On the red button:-
Qualifying MotoGP Saturday 17.30 - 19.30
Qualifying Moto2/3 Saturday 19.30 - 21.00
Moto 2/3 races Sunday 16.45 - 19.30

However, the red button viewing times are notoriously unreliable ::)
This year, qualifying is in the same format as Formula 1 i.e. knockout based on timed sessions :bounce:
Well done Mick,I was gonna start a thread on this but as O have the dreaded Sky+HD,I could only tell what the Eurosport schedules are broadcasting.
Anyway,come on Cal Crutchlow.
Also,BSB starts again tomorrow, first round is from Brands Hatch, again on Eurosport and on ITV4 later on in the week I think.

It's seems to have been a long wait this time, lots of new faces.
Dovizioso is showing well on the Ducati and it makes me wonder why Rossi with all his talent couldn't get to grips with it,perhaps the Ducati is better suited to the Quatar track.
Anyway I'm glad Rossi is back with Yamaha and I'm really looking forward to see how Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith get on this year,Cal certainly deserves a works ride.
Marquez will get better and better I think, possibly another Rossi in the making.
Roll on tomorrow.
Allan
It should be good tommorrow guys cant wait, what with our cal and marquez joining the mob its gonna be good. Prefer to watch on Eurosport too commentry far better than the beeb and more informed.
I love the new qualifying process, great fun with lots of excitement. It has been a VERY long winter waiting for the new season especially after all the news about Rossi etc.
Am now really looking forward to the race tomorrow
As has been mentioned already - COME ON CAL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simon
I cant wait. Been watching practice and the knock out session on the red button.
Cal is doing great .
Yamaha 1-2 ;D
The Doctor is back in the house :laugh3:
Our lads did themselves proud too. Very well done to Scott Redding and Cal :claphappy:
I was worried Rossi was going to be past his best but I think if Pedrosa hadnt stopped on the apex of turn one and sent rossi wide early on he really could have troubled Lorenzo!
Jolly exciting to say the least!
Really thought Scotty was gonna beat Espagaro, and if Cal had kept it on the island I reckon he could have followed Rossi and beaten Pedrobot.
For those interested the Moto3 and Moto2 from Austin are on the red button at 16.45 today.
The MotoGP is on BBC Three at 1930hrs

I watched the qualifying yesterday
Hopefully the race wont be won by one person enjoying all the luck whilst his closest rivals all have drs failures, punctures, grid penalties etc!! Normally I prefer the F1 but cant stand it when Vettel gets all the luck!
Sure the bikes will be more exciting today
I think Mark Marquez is going to be world champion this year,he rides that bike like he stole it,it's the first time I've ever seen a rider with his elbow so close to the track,he'll be needing elbow sliders to go with the knee sliders.
Cal Crutchlow needs a bit more horsepower to get him on the podium I think,Lorenzo did what he could but seemed resigned to following the Hondas, not really sure what to make of Rossi at the moment, just hope it's not a repeat of what happened with him at Ducati.
Definitely a bit more exciting to watch so far this year.
Allan
Afraid I have defected, watched BTCC instead.
Next one is Thruxton 5th May
So much to watch, so much to record, managed to miss the MGP, and cannot see when or if it will be repeated!
Shame Casey Stoner has left MotoGP for the V8 Supercars...
MotoGP wont be the same without him..
I always enjoy Moto3 and Moto2 more than MotoGP (bigger grid - more fun)
Really thought the Austin circuit would suit the Hondas for sheer speed and the Yamahas for the nadgery bits but the squirt of the Hondas out of the corners gave them the edge methinks.
Marquez hangs off the bike incredibly but I think he will prang it too often this season due to sheer exuberance. Personally I think Rossi will improve race by race but I still reckon the results will be circuit design driven i.e. power v handling.
Cal is doing a superb job given it's not a factory bike (even Lorenzo commented on that)
Davisioso is riding the wheels off that Ducati :claphappy:
Can't wait to see what Cal does at Jerez. I was there last year and he was right on Pedrose's tail the whole race, but couldn't overcome the power advantage of the Honda. BTW - watch Redding, he gets his elbows down too!
