It's 83 degrees in the shade up here in tropical Newcastle. 8)
A mixture of sun and cloud here in the Preston area so it is tending to be quite humid. I need it to cool down a bit as I have a pressing engagement with the iron.
No cloud, clear blue sky and hot, currently around the 30 degrees mark, here in sunny Ipswich

For once this week, its sunny! :)
Still loads of grey clouds around like there's been all week. :(

'Ot..infact.................... very 'ot
A few minutes in the garden and I retreated into the cool indoors....and not a cloud in sight
It was trying to rain here in sunny warrington around 11am but the sun forced it away, had a walk round Dunham Massey with the dog then retreated back home knackered, had a kip in my chair and back on form again.
Has to be about 80 degrees this afternoon.
Not so far away from Geoff. It's just hurled it down (or clodding as they call it up here) and started thundering too
It's a hot 28 degrees C here. Too much for me. We had these beautiful machines fly over at 16:30 today at Kenley Aerodrome. Sadly, these were the best shots I could muster as I wasn't ready for them.

This date coincides with the anniversary of the arrival in 1940 of No 64 Spitfire Squadron.
Fantastic Tank. My all time favourite airborne trio
Been really warm (if a little windy) down here in Cornwall. Spent the whole day at Godrevy in our 1972 VW Camper (Bertie). Back home now and time for a few minutes on my layout.
ZeroC, but a clear blue sky and a forecast high of 13C!
However, the railway room [MDF-lined] has a heat pump and will be a comfortable 21C shortly.
Brian
Still 21C at 10pm... still it was a sunny day, first in ages..

As for beers i used to drink in the Von Alton pub (spelling?) on Chatham High Street, just down from the old signal box, is it still there? The last time i was there was in 2004. :beers:

You've obviously never been to the Isle of Sheppey Owl. I would tell you what most people call it, but the post would be censored. :-)

Suffice to say i did not stay long however I did notice a rail link to the island:

News in: Gravesend is todays hottest place in the UK.
Of course Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey is only famous for one thing :

After that crash they knocked the building down and replaced it with one of those modern plastic things.
Even though the temp has gone down here it feels hotter because the humidity has gone sky high. :-[ <--red cheeks from the heat.

Gutted. Just looked, the pub is now closed down. Another casualty of Blair and Browns Britain (before any Labour fans start it closed under their tyranical reign )
Here in Liberia it is hot, around 30c and raining. In fact it rains almost all the time from May to November, then it is dry and even hotter!
Bob
I start to melt at anything over 79F. I am unable to move if it gets over 90F unless I'm drip fed Fanta. 8)
Showers in between rain and surprisingly a few minutes of sun - typical Irish summer
Been hot again (28C) up until about 3pm then the thunderstorms arrived!
