Just looked out the window.
It's snowing and the grounds maintenance people are busy cutting the grass.

It could well be the guy cutting the grass is a contract worker and if he does not cut it when it is scheduled he won't get paid, so he cuts the grass.

Am a landscape gardener and have done contract maintenance in the past. Haven't gone to my private client this afternoon because supposed to mow and too snowy/wet but if contract flats, whatever, I would have gone even if makes a mess. Money for trains.
They'll just mow, semi make a mess of the grass and sit in the van for a couple of hours with some soup, the sun and a few ciggies.
Not that that's what I did :D
