We all appreciate something a little different in modelling. Here's a a couple of links to a change to normal for "Slot Car Racing" ( apparently some get upset if you call it Scalectrix)
Whilst not a major fan myself - these look great fun, and the scenery in the airstrip one is superb.

This is great fun - love it!
Another use for copper strip, I have never seen anyone making their own track before and I think it is superb.
The weathering on the airfield is very good and the setting very imaginative.
Thanks for posting these Colin.
cheers John.
This is very common use for guys that custom build racing layouts and is where I first got to use copper strip - helping a mate build a layout. He then suggested using it for Power buses on the layout.
There is a great video clip that was produced by ZTC back in the early days of their DCC setup showing this. I have contacted Neil about being allowed to use it but have yet to get clearance to post.
Hi,
Saw this for the first time on Monday:

Is this the 'Rail Racing' I rather vaguely remember reading of far too many moons ago ???
No smoke effects here, it's from the current BBC4 tv series Motor Racing at the BBC: That Petrol Emotion 8)
Regards, Gerry.
Superb videos Colin  with copper tape for slots the possiblities are endless like our layouts ;)
