Title: Rails in the road

Hi all

What are the best options for rails imbeded in the road in N gauge the site I am basing my layout on has rails imbeded into cobble stones any ideas/ help would be welcome.

and i believe another member did the same but with air drying clay, sorry havent a link  or name to give credit  :-[

On my old modern image layout i used plasti-card cut by hand (ruler) to fit between the tracks. This worked well. I believe there are pictures still under the layout construction thread on this forum. Search my user name and layout.

Hi all


Thanks for the replies scotsoft the pics in the link are very impressive think I am going to use Wills cobblestone sheets and cut them to size maybe using cork or card to raise them to track level where needed. Should also have said in first post I am modelling a harbour area.
