Title: Bit of Fun- Top Gear.
Post by: OwL on June 12, 2011, 09:54:42 PM
Just for a giggle Ladies and Gentlemen,

Wanted to start a vote on whom is your favorite BBC Top Gear Presenter? (even our North American friends can join in by watching BBC America. It's always on that channel, just like DAVE channel in this country!!) Originally on BBC 2 though.

In Alphabetical order is it:

1) James May?

2) Jeremy Clarkson?

3) Richard Hammond?

For those of you who watch and LIKE the show, I would love to hear your responses?

Please remember, this is aimed at generating a bit of fun and chat on the forum, outside our normal activities. If it's not your cup of tea please just sit back and/or ignore. ;)

To start the ball rolling mine is James May (especially after his devotion to model railways)

This sounds like fun

James may would be the top dog, he has a strange humor and a clever mind.

Some of his other programs are amazing, the one that sticks in my mind apart from the railway one is the lego house.. Every boys dream.
wow just imagine having a lego house  8)

Cant me doing with Hammond, angry sort-arse whos over-competative. He makes me cringe sometimes!

That Lego House was great stuff , but because of the crash of the housing market and subsequent credit-crunch, i now find that a 1:1 scale lego house made by James May is now worth more than my own 3 bedroom semi........ :smiley-laughing:

It's good to see you back on the forum Chris. I hope you are well, if you get chance, please post some more updates and pictures of your new/(Tanks old) layout.... Nice one mate

Another vote for James May and his Flying Scotsman (with realistic chuffing sound ;D)

That was a fun programme tonight (and a good advert for Hornby!)

Yep, another vote for JM, here. He likes everything I do - toy trains, pubs, beer and wine.

It appears that no one told the Germans it was a best out of three race.

Not voting for any of them, they all think they are something special when they are not.

What was the point of the excercise?

 Please don't hate me.... :)

But I have friends in Canada who call me clarkson, so I have to go with JC, despite him being wrong on sooooo many levels !

I like to think this is just because I'm tall  ;D

James May... has done more interesting programmes, and is probably my favourite.
On the other hand, when it comes to Jeremy Clarkson... The words of Bugs Bunny come to mind. ("I like him, he's silly.")
