She doesn't like 9" curves for some reason? Strange as they're only a scale 98ft long.
Control yourself Cudders us steam blokes must never let our minds be corrupted by anything but steam ;) ;) now take an Asprin and off to bed with you. ;D ;D ;D :A1Tornado:

;D ;D ;D
I have calmed down for sure..but a definate crack has appeared. I have never owned a diesel but maybe one day. :o
:A1Tornado:
Cudders
Go for a class 08. This is steam era for sure although being diesel and the 08's con rods remind steam buffs of steam engine pistons......................................... Go on, you know you want to..................... :Class31:
The rot set in with me buying an 08 (with the intention of using the chassis for a G9 (1:20.3 scale, 9mm track) loco) but it was just too nice to take apart. To my shame I've now an 04 and another 08 on the way, and am starting like BR blue. I've caught myself watching videos of clag on You Tube.
Are there any tablets, or possibly cream for this?
While this :A1Tornado: is a thing of beauty, so now is this :Class37: and I'm getting worried about my grip on reality ;D Nurse... nuuuuurse :smiley-laughing:
A kettle fan buying a 37 - much like a vegetarian after smelling bacon! You couldn't pick a much better diesel than a 37!

Sounds as if nurse will need to bring you a nice tight straight jacket to rest 24/7 in for several years ;)

That would be lovely.. I could do with a nice rest. :smiley-laughing:
I could just do with a nurse! or two ;D
I was determined that there would be no dieselification on my layout... But the class 37 with the small yellow ends... did for me.:)
Go on cudders.....
It's dirty and you want it :Class37:
Go on... You know you do... I mean come on a 37 is almost a kettle, they can make so much smoke...:)

That is sooooo True! I've had a few veggie friends weaken and break when confronted with the smell of bacon :)

Well, back in the days when I worked for a pharmaceutical company I used to make a drug for pigs called Piglet Pro-Gen. It's active ingredient was arsenic. Look it up.
I take your point poliss about chemicals in our food and in no way wish to demean your beliefs and choices. Sadly pretty much everything has additives in it now, I was talking to local farmer and he mentioned organic farming, apparently there is only one type of chemical they can use in organic farming, however they can use it 6 times per crop, regular farmers can only use it once per crop - because it is too carcinogenic!
Anyway where is this ruddy diesel anyway ;D
For me I grew up with British steam modelled Japanese and British steam but also American diesel, I feel I now need to do the right thing and model what I grew up with again so its :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: :A1Tornado: Steam all the way or nothing.
Well guys,
All my stock is LMS/LNER so that is staying for sure...Not a deisel in sight!
But, as I grew up in the 70s, I remember the Blue era. If i ever buy them I'll run them seperate. I'm planning the layout with this in mind so I can swap buildings over etc to make it look more like that era..
Long way off of course but I may get the odd one for the future..
Cudders
Crikey Cudders what ever came over you came over me today, I lost my blinkin mind and bought three diesels.
I was determined to stay all steam but what the heck
Class47 No 47455 BR Blue.
Class 45 No 45114 Blue
Class 37 D6607 BR green
All were stored in a glass display case at a friends home and never run .
