Title: Great British Railway Journeys Series 4
Post by: Calnefoxile on January 07, 2013, 04:54:19 PM
A new series of this starts tonight on BBC 2 at 18:30.

This time Michael Portillo is journeying along tracks that helped to fuel the Industrial Revolution starting in, of all places, The Chilterns.

Should be another good series, lets just hope the continuity is better than the last 3 series  ;D ;D

Regards

Neal.

i think the problem is the production team don't really know a HST from a Voyager from a 150, its more about the places along the route not the trains.

:confused1:

I notice that they are using some of the clips from the previous series to save on the costs.

I ike the series and am looking forward to Series 4. :claphappy:
It's not just about railways.
IMO it's about the places/the people/the social & industrial history/etc.

I agree with Port Perran. At least we have something on mainstream TV to be thankful for despite any shortcomings it may have. I particularly enjoyed last Thursday's episode on my home patch. Severn Valley railway and the Black Country. More please.
