Been looking at the excellent standards of recent layout updates and from newcomers. :'(
Am seriously now considering taking up Origami or flying paper darts/planes.
Any other members want to join me. :uneasy:
Too late - Jerry and I have already started a knitting circle :-[
Maybe not everyone knows, but hot on the heels of Elvinley's 'Black Sheep Lane' appearing in RM last year, we have another member's layout appearing in the March issue so keep an eye open for "The Circle Line" by Terry Tasker (Mainline) :claphappy:

I once crossed a sheep with a kangaroo and got a woolley jumper
Very droll...
Not much cop at knitting, and my paper planes are rubbish. Will need some practice!

Origami!!!! Nah that's far to difficult for me I think I'll stick to sitting in front of TV and watching Railway DVDs.
Oh and admiring everyone elses fantastic layouts.
I might also daydream about winning the flaming NGF Prize Draw next year :hmmm: :hmmm:
Regards
Neal.
??? ???
Granddaughter no 1 has just offered to teach me how to crochet. :help:
Been watching train DVD's as well - British, Swiss and US trains.
One of the main reasons I like this forum so much is being able to see everyone's layouts. Maybe I'm just nosey but they are an inspiration even though they do sometimes make me wonder about taking up knitting :D
I also love the corny jokes so keep them coming. :claphappy:

Veronica.
Origami, dont we already have to do this to make some of the building kits that the likes of metcalfe etc offer???
remember folks, always apply rule 1 to your layout, layouts are never finished some are just more evolved than others.
Do Not Covert thy neighbours layout....
You lot can go off and do you knitting and making paper planes but im off for a game of Tiddly Winks or Ludo with the Grandkids, may as well I haven't touched the layout for weeks.

Ah the good old simple games. What about marbles or a simple card game like Snap
As winter sets in I like to see others progress, especially as 2012 didn't give much layout time, I would take up another hobby but I'm literally obsessed with my airbrush so I'm painting a 47 NSE To see if I have what it takes to do my own reprints,,,,,
Lost my marbles years ago ! :confused1:
:smiley-laughing: :laughabovepost: :) :laugh3:
