Title: Smug Children
Post by: davidjhope on December 17, 2012, 09:37:48 PM
I've been trying to work out the latest N Gauge Society competition only to be totally blank. :dunce:
I made my feelings known thoughout the house how rubbish I am at crossword questions. With this my 14 year old daughter asked to have a look which I thought was quite funny. How could she have any idea if I was stuck.
Guess what... 10 minutes later all the gaps filled in. :claphappy:
I wonder if it counts as cheeting?  not that it matters I never win anything.

So I've got mixed emotions at the moment. :hmmm:

Well I do it over a period of day(s) as it stays in the loo till read  :read:, then if I manage to complete the competition it comes along to the computer to send off my entry.

I have never won either David, so don't be downheartened, you are in good company  :D

cheers John.

I'm struggling with that one at the moment - although not as much as the suitcases puzzle, which I spent hours on without a shred of progress!

The word-search was easy though  :claphappy:

It's quite easy if you put your mind to it, however I'm giving no answers as if you all find it hard maybe I'll be the only entry and win  something for once !

I usually cheat, by getting the easier answers, then guessing the main answer, and trying to fit the unknown answers to fit, to confirm I am right. I have got nowhere on this one (did get the suitcases!). Hope to do better with the one on the back of the newsletter (much easier). What do you mean, you haven't seen that one yet?
