yes its hard to tell the difference. the no 1 end was always the end with the circular grille on the roof.

A golden ochre one would be great (I have a DVD with a couple on the 'Lea Valley Enterprise' pick up freight) but I wonder how many Farish would require as a run. If it's for example, 500 would there be a market?

If truth be told and with Rule 1 partly in play I could be tempted by green with no yellow panel. I have Dapol 26 and 27 in green both with and without and I am tempted to add a Deltic without as well. Definitely rule 1 though. My own layouts cannot justify a stud that large!

i like the model. the older farish one is not bad as well to be fair.

i have 31173 in blue and it runs very nicely.

i have pre-ordered the railfreight grey one as well.

i did also pre-order the rtc one but i cancelled it... i already spend far too much on model trains...

if they produce dutch, intercity or regional railways livery versions i may add to the collection though.
