Was just about to drop you a PM and expected to learn you were moving house!

As already said, Welcome back and please try not to repeat whatever it was that made you poorly.

Bet the DO was worried silly.

Take it easy.

The DO was told not to expect me to survive the first operation but I managed it, I must admit it has been a bit of an effort

Welcome back Paul.

Hope your trains have not gone rusty ?

The DO may have sold them all for all I know, as I cant get up the stairs to check

Glad you're still with us!

Welcome back to the fold Paul, but do take care. The trains can wait a bit - just imagine that there is a strike on.  :beers:

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Possibly not "pure" but I hope it helps towards full recovery.

Hi Paul.

I guess you had your Christmas dinner in the hospital. Did you get sprouts ? If not I hope the DO served you a big plateful on your return home.

Best regards,

Joe

Thankfully on Christmas day I had a nose line in that fed me direct to my stomach, which gave me the perfect excuse not to eat the Christmas lunch, but there was not a sprout in sight.

When I get a little better the DO will have a delayed Christmas and yes there will be sprouts :)

I should have mentioned it the other day but the NHS and the people who work there are miracle workers, they managed to keep me alive, they truly are a special bunch

Changing tack a little here now.

I had my Mercedes Sprinter van insurance renewal through today...

...£8 less than last year!

Woo-hoo!

Only £216 to pay. I did run it through all the comparison sites, but the best they could do was £250ish.

All hail Admiral.
