Back in the Irish pub on Salamanca Place today. Live Irish music and mulled wine for Mrs B. I stuck to the Cascade draught!

The pub is just over the park in front of the Tasmanian State Parliament. The politicians don't mess about down here!

Last day in Hobart town today. Went to the Maritime museum, even though I'd been there before. However, a new exhibit was a reconstruction of an officer's quarters in the 1980s. Unfortunately I never noticed which ship!



Back to the Irish pub after that though

Last evening was in a posh restaurant on Hobart's waterfront, prearranged by the Bealettes for me 70th. A cool surprise!

An excellent surprise, lucky man, typical posh place though "art on a plate".
