without wading through all the replies to this topic...

is there a simple easy way to add photos to a reply ?  copy / paste would be good.  works on other forums i'm on ( non railway )

please keep it simple.  my eyes glaze over with any computer geek speak.

Let's see -

I just clicked on 'Reply', copied the photo BB Code of a picture in 'My Gallery' and pasted to the reply.

And it works!

Addit: Just had a thought @bigmac did you mean adding a photo from the gallery or from an external source?
David.

I find this site about the most awkward for loading images from a PC into the gallery, I don't recall another site which asks for type of image (Random photo or PCF competition) and also wanting a title, on other sites the file name is sufficient. Sometimes trying to keep the cursor over the link can be a bit hit and miss.

Adding an image from the web is much easier.
Cheers MIKE

bulk upload button

Hover over 'Gallery' button and it is the second option 'Upload Multiple Items'. Click on that and you get 'Bulk Add Pictures'.

that worked.

i just typed a reply..then looked below the box and clicked attatchments and other options--chose a file and hit post.

no need to mess about with gallery and filling out titles and category / description.

( ive typed this for my own benefit for next time i want to post a photo )
