New liveries announced for the Dapol Class 50

As per title, Dapol have said which colours the Class 50 will appear in next:

The revised NSE was predicted by many on this forum.

Also, there is another special edition from DCC supplies (on next page to link), Thunderer to go with 50015. This is going to get expensive!

Quite excited to see '149 announced as it is a) in my favourite triple grey and b) I recently found this photo of it on test, giving me a great train to model:

But confirmed on FB that 50018 never had the later dark blue NSE livery, so it's the revised livery, with the original lighter blue, which is a shame. I'll wait for a dark blue one.

I could be reading too much into it but the Kernow Facebook post that announced the new Dapol liveries also said this:

"Keep an eye on our newsletter this week for a further announcement!"

You never know.

2D-002-DCC3 - Thunderer 50 008 Late BR Blue, small logo
2D-002-FF2 - Glorious 50 003 BR large logo blue

2D-002-007 Resolution 50 018 late NSE
(all refurbished body shells).

Thunderer is exclusive to DCC Supplies, with Glorious being exclusive to the Fifty Fund.

Ajax was one of the class that got to Manchester on a regular service train so could soon be hauling one of my Mk2 cross country rakes!

I wonder if anyone will do 50 050 in its late BR condition in BR blue with D400 numbers. It was a regular with 50 007 Sir Edward Elgar at the end of the 80s.

Contains 50 007 "Hercules" and 50 049 "Defiance".  50 007 is finished as 50 014 "Warspite" on one side as per the prototype.

Do you mean they are putting different numbers/nameplates on each side or am I still suffering from the effects of too much IPA last night? This is something I've wanted for a long time so you can turn the loco around and effectively have a different loco

In this case it is, as that is how it runs around on the mainline currently!  It's nice to see This is being replicated on the model.
