Oops...

These aren't Deutsche Bahn... wonder how they'll fit on Steinheim am Main...

Looks like classic ozeanblau/beige to me...

Upon further examination the coaches would appear to be Bahn-Reisezugwagen Modelklasse 1

It was my birthday a few days ago and this little lot was given to me

This was very, very nice as I was not expecting the Wessie.

I'm a bit confused about the B set though. I now have two B sets, I maroon and one supposedly crimson. One of these is described as maroon and one as crimson, yeh right. Never mind I'm happy with two maroon sets.

I popped into DCC supplies to get a buffer for my Hymek yesterday. They have a great display and also some Cat A, Cat B and Cat C items from Dapol. These are basically returns and Cat C comes with no guarantee that it will actually work. I saw this Cat C item at £38.40 and decided it was well worth a punt. It didn't do anything more than buzz and shake when power was first applied but with a little jiggling to the drive shaft it runs great. I'm well happy although not impressed with the pulling power but I think this is normal for a Dapol 9f.

They have quite a few locos in the various categories so well worth a visit.

The price was right, then! I'm very fond of those locos as they worked from Tyne Dock in my youth.

With the pound in the cellar digging furiously away at the floor, it would be rude not to acquire another Western.

And a nice Pullman car to go with it, annoyingly someone nabbed the others before I could put them in my basket.

You just can't have too many Westerns!

Those class 20s in the background look a bit overscale... I'd say they're Lima but IIRC Lima never produced 20s in N.  ???
