Errmmmm... NO!  :P

Latest haul from Ally Pally today...

Two Jinty's, A Fairburn, 5MT and two 28xxs...

That's OK, Steve. I've got all of them already. Phew!

Received another Hattons package yesterday, just 2 days after an earlier one arrived, yet they were ordered 8 days apart.

The photos below show my latest purchases in the order they have been received and include a – Farish grey class 37 "Saltire", Dapol sliding door Ferry wagon,  Farish green weathered centre headboard class 37, Dapol blue weathered class 52.

Latest order also included some Setrack & Streamline points which need fitting to the layout.

I went to the model show in Sheffield and bought several items today for my Fisherlea layout:

Farish FGW HST trailer guards standard to make up a FGW "Barbie" 2+2 set.

and Farish Bulleid CK and Mk1 BSK as part of a plan to represent a loco-hauled Southern Region passenger steam formation in July 1967 (once I've applied the yellow first class stripes above the windows on the CK)

Bought a couple of old Farish Pullman Brake ends second hand from KGB models to go with my rake of Farish Mk1 Pullman coaches on preorder (could be some time before I get them though)

Received Brake ends today - nice condition apart from a bit of slightly dodgy repainting of the cream panels and a wrongly fitted but, fortunately, loose roof. Paintwork corrected with the aid of a sharp point and roof refitted. Well pleased with the results and very pleased with the service from KGB - I shall be using them again no doubt.

The colours on this pic are not very representative of the actual models (thank god)
:beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

A visit to my local modelling emporium for a dynamis probox at a very reasonable price (£96.05) resulted in a couple of completely unplanned purchases spotted in the 2nd hand cabinet....

I had considered adding one to my shopping list before leaving but current economics dictated I should forego that extra expense, however for the bargain price of £55 I couldn't resist! It's a little stuttery but closer investigation shows the wheels are filthy! a good clean and I expect it to be a super little runner.

And next to it, looking forlorn and unloved...

For £45. This is a great little runner,  and he has some playmates already... (gratuitous shot of my growing collection of gronks, and no, I haven't got enough! :P)

I will be eating grass for the next month at least but it's worth it

I hear they have improved a lot since they changed their name from NKVD (Specialist in all things electrical)

Why don't you pair sell the grass and weed to buy food, or better still more models ? :-X :D

Not really I wouldn't want to see you in jail.

Hi all
I just received 60feet of ID backscenes which I purchased from AJM railways.
She has an ebay site which is where I found her but also runs a UK site. Great service and she custom mirrored the scenes for me so they match up. Icely
Just have to get them stuck up on the wall
Also a 31 in blue and some CCT's may have also sneezed into the train room
