Hi Guys !! I'm BACK !!!!!!!!!!

I have now set a definite period for my layout and it is set in May 1949. My birthday seemed a good time.
Can any of the historians amongst us give me any sort of run down on the timescales of the change over in liveries during this time so that I can ensure that all my locos are running in the correct colours??
My line is set in Notts Lincs borders so will be LMS/BR.

Now I must get on with doing the alterations to my buttresses ( or is that BUTTRII ?)

Happy birthday for today!

What a great time period to do.  I can't help you with liveries, but I should imagine that locomotives would still be in Big 4 colours, or just painted black because of the war.  pYou'll want an opinion from an expert though! ;D
