It's all the sweeter as the Mrs to be had the idea of going to see Canada on "The Rocky Mountaineer".

Skyline2uk

Not even married yet and the future SWMBO has already suggested you're in for a rocky ride

It's a great day!

With my physical health at a real low and my mental health having all the qualities of a blacksmiths forge just before the Charge of the Light Brigade, my wife and I have booked a 4 night break in Portsmouth starting on Sunday. Weather looks set fair, but come rain or shine it'll be marvellous.  :D

Must look out any good rail stores in the town.

Hope you have really nice break Mike no matter what, you really do deserve it, chill out and relax and enjoy all that Portsmouth has to offer.

But how much did you pay your accountant to fiddle the taxman and get the amount down as low as that ?
Bob Tidbury

As an accountant we don't "fiddle the taxman", we use creative techniques
to ensure the client doesn't pay a penny too much, sort of public service....

Less tax = more income = more to spend on trains, planes, automobiles etc

Good for the economy !

Do you know how to recognise an extravert accountant ?

He looks at your shoes when he talks to you.

Best regards,

A good accountant would look at your shoes and think
" How can he afford those £500 hand made crocodile skin
brogues  +  10 new locos when he says he's skint ?"

Malc

Reminds me about the interview board for a corporate accountant. When asked "what is 2 + 2"? The guy who got the job answered, "what would you like it to be"?
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Should you happen to shake hands with a taxmanperson, always count your fingers afterwards :uneasy:

Jimbo

I'll take that into account..... :sorrysign:
