The Happy side of things just found a model shop in Aylesbury and got 3 Large radius Peco points for £18 and a lenght of track for £1-40 The sad side of things he's closing down. SPD unit 15 Bessemer crescent , Aylesbury.
He has still got quite a few points and a whole box of wooden sleeper code 80 track and a few Peco wagons and lots of  Javis scenery left not sure when he's closing for good . He said the lease is running out but that he will be allowed to stay there a bit longer if he wants to clear all the stock.

The main thing is that you are breathing - take it easy.  :beers:

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Well just back from a brilliant week away with the Domestic Overlord down in Ilfracombe, despite it being in SR territory, even had a ride on a Steam train down in Minehead.

See that's what happens when your a good boy

I'm stuck in bed for two weeks with an ankle in a cast after an operation, not much fun you would think but every cloud has a silver lining.

It's a wonderful opportunity to catch up on railway reading and model railway kit building. At the moment I'm building an Airfix 1:144 scale model of Concorde and a Metcalfe village shop.

If I didn't have this wonderful hobby, I'd probably be bored stiff by now.

Best wishes and enjoy!!

Well done that man building kits in bed.
Hope you will soon get back to the trackside, and visiting model railway exhibitions.
I visited Gaugemasters excellent two-day show yesterday, at Ford, near Arundel. The showroom is an Aladdin's cave. After three for laps of one cabinet full of lovely stuff, I finally succumbed to temptation and bought one of the items on sale - my first Fleischmann loco - a DB cargo electric bo-bo in exquisite white and blue. My layout is British! But it's ok, the German loco is here for trials!
The spotters glued to  station platform, and sitting on the parapet of the road over bridge, are delighted.

Tut Tut. 'That man' is Veronica (the moo might have given it away if you're old enough to remember Alf Garnett) :telloff: :D

Hope your recovery goes well and quickly, Veronica, and that you are being well looked after/pampered ;)
