I will start babyproofing the railway room office. On the whole he's quite a Good Little Boy, but no doubt accidents will happen and temptations occur.

Congrats :) And when you're doing th baby proofing, make sure to check the under board wiring! Hard to access for us big folks, but just perfectly toddler sized underneath!

Accidents won't happen - unintended curiosity driven devastation will happen  ;D

With SWMBOd becoming 70 something tomorrow I was highly relieved when a parcel from Asia arrived this morning that was dispatched about a month ago  :)

My three are all in their late twenties now, but I remember being told by my father when the first one arrived, to get down on the floor and crawl around.  Worth doing, you will be astounded what a baby can see that you don't.

He must have learned from having me.

Squidlet is officially toddling  :beers:

Time to train Squidlet to seek out all those bits that have pinged off into the carpet :D

Congratulations to Mrs Jonclox. Are you sure that wasn't a typo and meant 'Asda'?

A very Happy Birthday to 'Mrs Jonclox' and let's hope she enjoys her pressie from Asia, (or Asda  :D).

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Well done Sqidlet. You can now help Daddy look for the things that have mysteriously dissapeared, oh and Daddy wait until he knows the meaning of "why".  :D

My son's favourite question was "what's that"

Skyline2uk

Have now spent 10 minutes at work scratching my head wondering what the correct word for describing the motion of a small squid is  :hmmm:

Best I got was "Squidling", an aquatic version of taking a stroll  ???

Anyway, congrats @railsquid and best grow some new eyes.

Also congrats to Mrs @jonclox , did her parcel contain any black and yellow boxes perchance  >:D

I'm sure he'll find all kinds of interesting stuff to investigate, though he was pretty mobile anyway so it's not as if he suddenly went from playing in his play-pen to full-on explorer.

railsquid

That reminds me, we did actually buy a playpen but he refused to play in it, so we ended up using it as a safe but accessible storage zone.
