Nice to hear Jon. Sincere best wishes for a happy outcome.
If it's not a Diesel Hydraulic then it's not a real locomotive.

I'm a Grandpa !!!!! Whooo hoooo

My daughter has given birth to beautiful twin boys called Oliver and Noah. I couldn't have wished for a better Father's Day present.

I guess I'm going to have to start thinking about building a layout for them in a few years time.

One for a steam train, the other for diesel or electric. Wonderful.

Caz

Great news Trevor, bet you are really proud and also pleased you've now got an excuse well into your old age to continue railway modelling.   :)

:claphappy: Just had aq phone chat with my new GP. She has the results of the blood test and the X-ray for me. My sodium level is  bit low but not worth worrying about  and the chest picture shows no deteriation  since 2012 instead of a steady decline so its now just a case of sorting out the best inhaler cocktail for me. though for another month its carry on as is whilst we see what happens :-\ :worried:

The halt in the decline sounds very positive, Jon. Huzzah for your new GP (and you, of course)

Chinahand

Good to hear that things are at least stable now Jon.

By the way, thanks to everyone for their good wishes on the birth of my grandsons. It was actually a pretty close run thing as she developed pre-eclampsia and the babies were in difficulty so they were born by emergency C Section. We very nearly lost my daughter also and she spent 3 days in ICU but I'm happy to report that Mother and babies are now all doing well and hope to come out of hospital tomorrow. :claphappy:

A worrying statistic is that last year 23,000 mothers and babies died as a result of pre-eclampsia.   :(

I had been warned before I had my prostrate op that I could suffer heart and breathing problems after it but went ahead anyway. There was certainly a big detrition at that point and it certainly showed but seemed to continue even lately but its obviously stopped  :)
