Im trying find if there are any of these available anywhere, or if there is a way to scratch build them and what to use for the stanchion.

One of the whitemetal accessory producers (Langley, Fleetline or similar) cetainly did this something like this one (non-functional of course)



If you want working ones, then ebay has swarms of them to choose from in different style, just search for 1:150 street light, or if they're a bit overpowering then try the 1:200 scale version.

Can be bought as posted above, either that or you could scratchbuild your own to the style you want. I made my own for my Porthkerry layout using some brass tubing cut to length & bent into the shape I wanted. Then painted a light green, they have small orange LED's in them I bought off ebay. The light lense covers I made from bits of clear tubing cut to length, & cut in half to make a U shame light cover.
