Not jealous. Wouldn't want it. Rather struggle on in the fourth bedroom.
Rather spend the money on counselling to stop me telling lies.
Lovely space and take a look at the framework for the boards. How much weight are they designed to take?
Amazing collection.
I could get down to play with the kit on the lower boards but getting back up would be a challenge.
Thanks for posting.

I've been following his thread on another forum and here's the link if anyone is interested.

With that space I think I would want to have inclines etc, money no object that must be a nice feeling going into a model rail shop and spending thousand of pounds on railway stock, nice to see how others live, and here I am with my 6 foot x 3 foot layout.
You mean he has to move the trains from those cabinets to the layout MANUALLY??
Wouldn't if I had that space and funds, some sort of automated indexing system would be in order linked to the layout ;)

The alternative would be to employ someone to get the trains on the track and then go away so you can play. Of course they'd need to come back and tidy up when it was time to go to the pub. :D

Very nice!
Imagine what he could do in :ngauge: though!
That's what I always think when I see these "oversize train" layouts ;D
Paul
Despite having about a million locos not one bit of movement on any of the layouts! :(
I think it is an amazing space to have and a staggering collection
I wish him well with his endeavours :claphappy:
cheers John.
He does occassionally run trains. This was one of his Youtube posts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjS3-fPbaTU (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjS3-fPbaTU)
Great to see this collection, however I don't envy how long it takes him to clean the layout!
