The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Never got as far as clearing the bench, maybe tomorrow  ::)  I'm sure I even saw some locos and rolling stock in there somewhere, one day, one day!

And you have the cheek to call yourself a railway modeller.   ;)  :-X

I've spent the last few weeks just building Metcalfe buildings of all descriptions but finally got bored with that and painted some cutting walls in yellow sandstone, the first work on the layout itself for some time.
If it's not a Diesel Hydraulic then it's not a real locomotive.

Time for a return to clockwork powered trains again methinks! ;)
Proof that no matter how many chips you have, how much DCC you may build into the system, no matter how complex the equipment you are only as good as your weakest electrical connecrtion. :(

Been wiring my Kato points this evening. Done all but 2 then I decided I was too tired to carry on. Will finish tomorrow.

For the "umpteenth" time changed the layout again to accommodate more shunting options and rolling stock. AnyRail snapshot of amended layout appears below although text lines at bottom have yet to be updated. Yet to alter Scarm version of layout which will give a better 3D image of what I have done.

Tonight, I have mostly been . . . painting staples
