My latest toy, a Farish 2MT converted to digital sound by Wickness Models.  Seen here sspotting wagons on the weighbridge of Hawthorn Dene's colliery circuit before heading back to BR with fulls, stopping at the lane crossing to let the flagman get organised.

Renumbered 46477 as a Darlington example.

Yeah, having learned that availability of locos and liveries can be fleeting, when I saw Hattons were offering the 58 cheap(ish) I thought I ought to go for it.

£270 for loco, chip, speaker, YouChoos sound file and fitting.    paid for by selling off quite a lot of stuff I have no layout for.   WD with sound (this time a Pauliebanger file fitted by Digitrains) next in the queue, then hopefully a Dapol Bittern from Douglas.  I've all but finished chipping the fleet I'm keeping so am into bonus time with the stuff I've still got to sell.....

All the very best

That video is uber-cool, Les. Great sound, great loco, great layout, and beautifully weathered hoppers.

Well done, mate!

Picked up the following beauties at the N gauge show:

Second hand GW streamlined railcar.

Needs a good service, I think, as it isn't the best running thing in the world.

Unboxed Dapol B-set coaches.

And a Dapol Gresley teak brake composite.

It gives me a nice LNER rake should I want to run one.

The FGW fleet of 4 57's, all named after south west Castles, are normally used on the Cornish Night Sleeper. If you wanted FGW Sleeper Cars in Blue Dynamic Lines you'll have to have a word with Adam at Electra Railway Graphic.

My latest purchase: a (lovely) prototypical rake of Virgin Mk2s which was formerly owned by Buzzard and which he was kind enough to ship off to France for me. Just right for Chester in the late 90s.

Bought one of these to store them in ;)

Cheers,

JB
