Mum feeling more than a little under the weather at present so I took her for lunch to Oswaldtwistle Mills today with an ulterior motive in mind..........

https://www.o-mills.co.uk

as I wanted to visit 'The Works' and see what sort of arty stuff I could get (paints etc). I came away with this set for £6. I realise the tubes are relatively small but they are handy for when small bits & pieces require a daubing.

I really like The Works Mick. Decent quality and good prices.  I hope your Mum is a bit better after her lunch.

David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Malc

I bought a set of those last year. They are good quality and they should last a while.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

The Q

I've got a similar  set,  and all of the larger 200ml range which has fewer Colours.
They do most of my scenic painting.

Note, their black is much stronger than most other colours go easy with it...

I also use a variety of their paint brush packs and their palette knives are good for sculpting  not yet set pollyfilla.

Caz

Hope your mum is feeling better soon Mick.

Thanks, Caz. She's been in the wars a bit and the latest is getting very dizzy when shopping last Saturday. To the doc Monday and the hospital Tuesday for an X ray as it seems she may have nipped a nerve in her neck. Painkillers for now and maybe traction is required.
