Does anyone know if you still log on the their website and check to see the DCC compatibility of a non dcc loco? I'm sure it was on there site many years ago when I upgraded my class 57 to DCC. I'm sure it gave instructions of the upgrade if you needed to solder in DCC rather than just plug in.

I have had a look in their site and can't find it anymore?

Hi,

Nearly all of their current production is DCC ready (has a socket). So perhaps they've dropped that information.

If there's a specific loco that you need info on then ask on here. It always helps to have the Farish item number though to distinguish between old and new versions of the same model.

For example original class 66 locos needed to have the decoder soldered in, the newer 66 releases have a 6 pin socket.
