I was not actually thinking those words, but it was on those lines!   ??? ;)
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Hi Lawrence,

Although the 'Lot' doesn't exist anymore, I will probably pop into Brintels (Eric's) to say hi to the Heliops crowd.
Currently, I'm holding SAR/ Comp/ Medevac cover so tied to the block for now.

Later,
Stu in EGYP.

Indeed it is, as is 1312...not Hercs and Phantoms any more sadly, but Typhoons and the A400M.

seen some clips of the A400s in the Mach loop....

putting so called yank top guns to shame....

lovely views of the undersides of F-15s against the clouds......

while great shots of the top surfaces of the A400s as they weave through the loop BELOW the photographers.

as usual, RAF leads, USAF follows, as long as it's not too low  >:D

Are the aircraft still named 'Faith', 'Hope', 'Charity', and 'Desperation'?

Hi emjaybee...

Indeed they are but no decals or id on the frame anymore.

Later,
Stu in EGYP.

I did see the original 'Faith' many years ago in Malta. I always thought the addition of 'Desperation' was an interesting choice. It's a nice nod to the past, I'd have loved to have seen the Phantoms with the names on.

My first trip down met by Phantoms, then I put in the equipment for Tornado ADV radar testing, last trip down met by Tornados, as I went to survey the equipment for an upgrade (and to calibrate it.).
