Title: RTR Nuclear flask
Post by: Paul-H on November 07, 2018, 01:57:28 PM
Hi all

For some inexplicable reason (I blame Dementia & OCD) I have ended up with 2 DRS Class 68's so been looking for something for them to pull, all my other stock is pre 1970's.  DRS coaching stock is rarer than hens teeth There is an overpriced Dapol set on FleBay at the moment but nothing else has come up in my searches. So just using them to pull a nuclear flask became my next thought, did anyone supply a RTR Nuclear flask or are the few I have seen in videos on youboob scratch built.

Thanks for any input on this

Paul

The Farish FNA are the rtr flask wagons.

Have seen them on eBay every so often but usually seem to command quite a high price.

All retailers I've looked at have them listed as out of stock.

will need to check in the shed, but IIRC I have this type,

and the sloped floor ones

went a bit enthusiastic when they were available  :-[

Rainbow models had one for sale brand new, £30 I think.
There at Falkirk Model Rail Exhibition this weekend.
If still looking for one, e mail them as was still there when I left.
Think it was sloping floor one.
