Title: Using a laptop to draw lines on a Word document
Post by: Newportnobby on January 07, 2021, 01:01:58 PM
My OS is Windows XP and I have the basic Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

I've drawn up a Word document but would like to add straight lines to it (in all directions). If it was a jpeg I would open it with Paint and then add the required lines, but can see no way of converting the document from Word to jpeg. Anyone have any ideas please (other than printing it off, drawing lines on it and then photographing it)? Thank you.

If you have a fairly recent version of Word you can access drawing tools from the Insert menu | Shapes.

In Word 2000 it's View | Toolbars | Drawing | Autoshapes.

Hth!
