Title: 'Guest' access - did this change?
Post by: Dr Al on January 04, 2021, 10:44:14 PM
Hi,

I'm just wondering if or when (and possibly why) the access for 'guest' users seems to have been limited right down to virtually nothing?

I have a couple family members who aren't modellers, but do (or used to) look in occasionally on some of my posts, but recently said they had no access. I've no idea how long that's been for given they only look very occasionally.

Has there been a policy change to this?

Cheers,
Alan

It has been this way since three months – see

Are there now less bot attacks?

Oh, hang on - yes, Tank has had problems with bots slowing the forum down, so guests now have to register to view threads.
