No, Chris, drive through!  Too busy, but thanks for the heads up.

Crappy pic, but you can just make out the Beal danger sign on the right.

Special place for me, as I named my layout after this location!

Used to have a nice little branch line from Burnmouth.  Typical motive power in its later years was a 'J39' 0-6-0.

I hope you are enjoying sunny Berwickshire.

Best wishes

John

Poor lad got sunburnt while on Lindisfarne. No fog on the Tyne there then

crewearpley40

Ah OK. Did George and Anne have much of the North Sea breeze to contend with whilst up there ?

Bealman

It was only a light breeze. But a combination of that and the sun gave me a nice little tan on the top of me poor balding noggin  ;D

Sitting beneath the Royal Border Bridge in Berwick this arvo, I copped another Azuma thingy heading south.

Bealman meets Train Waiting!

Bealman had lunch with a very dapper @Train Waiting in Edinburgh yesterday. Made me look a bit shabby, I'm afraid - but it was great to meet yet another forum member. Thank you, John.

Enjoy your holiday, mate.

Looks like John was wearing one of Bertie Poppingham's cast-off tattersall shirts ?  :)

Hi George,

Are you sure that you haven't just met up with a Doctor and he's saying "I'll have a coffee but you must drink this clear stuff in the jug. It's called water."  ;)  :)

Silly boy, Chris.
That's voddy ;)

My wife deemed it prudent not to get the grog in the picture. That was just before we left and we'd drank it all anyway  :)
